One of the recurring features of our design meetings with architects and engineers is the need for a single point of responsibility for waterproofing. With so many elements to consider in any new or existing build project, why complicate matters by having to use multiple waterproofing suppliers?
RIW DPM Red is a new reinforced loose laid DPM. The product has been designed to damp proof new slabs and to prevent the tracking of moisture into the internal space on both ground bearing slabs and suspended floors.
The three layered polyethylene sheet incorporates an integral polypropylene reinforcing grid, which enables it to be robust and helps to prevent on site damage. DPM Red is also manufactured from virgin material as opposed to recycled waste, resulting in a guaranteed factory formed and tested uniform consistency every time.
The introduction of DPM Red helps us to improve the level of technical advice and guidance within our already well recognised technical department. We will now be able to assist on a wider range of damp proofing arrangements including tricky slab edge details – and provide that vital point of single contact and responsibility.
