As a structural waterproofing provider, a lot of the applications we work on are 'below ground' so with this in mind we encouraged architects to get creative and enter our competition to design an underground structure below any UK building or landmark. Run in association with the Architects' Journal, we asked architects to submit designs that were serious, witty, political and generally just have fun with it!
Below you can view the winning design as well as the six other shortlisted entries as judged by Ken Shuttleworth (founder of MAKE Architects) and Rory Olcayto (the editor of the AJ).
